SmartVoice uses your Broadband Internet connection to make and receive calls. You can connect to SmartVoice by using a "SmartBox". A SmartBox plugs into your Broadband Modem or Router which allows you to use a normal phone/cordless handset over VoIP. You may alternatively use the SmartVoice Softphone, which allows you to use your PC to make and receive calls using a headset.

So, what do I need to use SmartVoice?

To take advantage of SmartVoice you will require the following;

  • Internet Service (Cable or ADSL with a minimum speed of 512/128kbps for Smart Box, 56kbps for Softphone)
  • Broadband Router (or Combined Broadband Router)
  • Smart Box Basic or Complete Access Adapter or;
  • Your PC (Using our SmartVoice Softphone) or;
  • An Existing VoIP Adapter or Phone.
